Whether it’s sight fishing for spooky carp in lake flats or chasing elusive wilds, he has an expansive knowledge of fish and where they hide. The coolest thing this fish whisperer loves to do is share his knowledge with the next generation.&nbsp;His expertise is not really a surprise as he comes from a family of fishermen. When he was young, his mother and father would take him out on fishing trips and especially loved to fish with his grandfather. As the years progressed, he tremendously improved his fishing skills and still goes out in the waters regularly to practice his angling skills. One day, his college professor challenged him and brought up fly fishing. Rahjeir knew his professor didn’t really take his fishing skills seriously but without a doubt, he accepted the challenge and this is how he responded to him—one day I’m gonna pick up the rod, I’m gonna start fly fishing, I’m going to get sponsored to do it and I will be better than you. But his professor looked at him and started laughing, thinking those words were hilarious. Since then, Guide Rahjeir&nbsp;never looked back. He made the most out of the great fishing locations around him. During that time when he was still studying at Lock Haven University, the atmosphere and the support of the people there was overwhelming. Even though he knew that the bait might now work, what he is after is to trigger a fish response. This is how he learns about their behavior and it helps him to expand his fishing knowledge and diversity.&nbsp;If he’s not out in the waters to fly fish, he’s probably right at the bench tying some flies. Rahjeir&nbsp;is truly committed to succeeding in the path that he is taking.
